  • Disability – Developing inclusive environments and policies based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
  • Human Rights Based Approaches – Developing, implementing and monitoring programs using international human rights treaties such as the
    • UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD)
    • UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
    • UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (UNCEDAW)
    • UN International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (UNCESR)
    • UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (UNCERD)
    • UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education
  • Inclusive Education & TVET – Building on the principles of the Salamanca Statement & Framework for Action, the Incheon Declaration & Framework for Action of the 2015 World Education Forum on Equitable and inclusive quality education and lifelong learning for all by 2030, UNCRPD article 24 and SDG 4, as well as relevant regional treaties and declarations.
  • Inclusive Employment – On the basis of UNCRPD article 27, persons with disabilities have equal rights to work in the private and public sector and reasonable accommodation is provided at the workplace.
  • Inclusive Infrastructure – SDG 9 encourages governments to develop resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation. Non-accessible and not affordable infrastructure that does not offer reasonable accommodation exclude millions of people worldwide and bares them from accessing quality education and safe jobs.
  • Social Inclusion – Leaving no one behind – The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the 2030 Development Agenda define key goals for achievement of social inclusion for all.
  • Social Protection – On the basis of UNCRPD article 28, persons with disabilities have the right to equal access to social protection programs.
